The Working Community of Franconian-Jewish History [Arbeitsgemeinschaft Fränkisch-Jüdische Geschichte] (AGfjG) was established on January 8, 2006 in Fürth in the Jewish Museum Franken Fürth & Schnaittach as a loose association of citizens from Franconia. The majority are private researchers who have been dealing with the Jewish history of their city or region for years and are committed to commemorating the victims. Pooling their knowledge and potential and increasing them through exchange is an essential element of the working group. The focus is on the Jewish history of the 19th and 20th centuries. They have two main projects: "Deportations of Jewish Citizens from Franconia" [Die Deportationen jüdischer Bürger aus Franken] and the abandoned project "Jewish residents of Ansbach in the 1930s" [Die jüdischen Ansbacher der 1930er Jahre].
