Litvak World is a private non-profit organization established as "Jerusalem of the North" that works to preserve and cherish the cultural heritage of Litvaks, that is, Jews of the former Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Through a series of cultural and educational projects related to the Litvak heritage, such as a permanent audiovisual display for the local Jewish museum, the Litvaks' art album, Holocaust education seminars for the teachers in Lithuania, open discussions, awards for the best students’ dissertations on Jewish studies, and a Vilnius synagogues' map, Litvak World makes their work widely and publicly available through their website. Especially notable is the "Exhibition" tab on their website, where users can find biographical information and artwork from contemporary Lithuanian Jewish artists, as well as their "Hundred Synagogues of Vilnius" which has the name and location of the dozens of Synagogues which used to be in Vilnius.
