The Judaica Europeana (2010-2012) and Judaica Europeana 2.0 (2018-2021) projects aimed to increase the amount of high-quality data and metadata from Jewish cultural heritage institutions and make it accessible through Europeana, an EU-funded platform for digital access to European cultural heritage material. The projects made several millions of items from partner institutions available on the Europeana portal, including books, incunabula, manuscripts, archival material, newspapers and periodicals, photographs, postcards, and music recordings. Several curated collections based on the project can be seen on the Jewish Heritage feature page on the Europeana website and all the material from this and the original projects can be found using Europeana's general search engine.
