The Historical Jewish Press [עיתונות יהודית היסטורית] (JPRESS) project, a partnership between the National Library of Israel and Tel Aviv University, is a platform to access a wide variey of digitized Jewish newspapers and journals. Periodicals on the website are viewable in their original layout and are fully searchable throughout all the years of their publication. As of September 2021, the JPRESS platform currently provides access to 54 periodicals, spanning the years 1843-1987 and including periodicals in 8 different languages from 15 countries, ultimately andrepresenting over 120,000 issues with more than 1.2 million scanned pages. It encourages contributors to join in the project, with the end goal of having the project expanded to provide representation of all the Jewish communities of the world and of the newspapers which they have published.
