Experiencing History was created by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and provides curated, contextualized, fully digital, and translated primary sources on the Holocaust. These are organised in a variety of collections and three overarching major themes. Jewish Perspectives on the Holocaust offers diaries, letters, testimonies, art, and other media that highlight Jewish responses to persecution and genocide. Americans and the Holocaust offers primary sources that depict politics and society in the US from the early 1930s, the Holocaust and World War II, and the postwar period. Finally, Everyday Life: Roles, Motives, and Choices During the Holocaust explores the difficult choices and new social and political pressures confronted by individuals during the Holocaust. Items can also be browsed or searched by tag and type of source.
