This project is a digitized version of Marcus Jastrow's classic reference work A Dictionary of the Targumim, the Talmud Babli and Yerushalmi, and the Midrashic Literature (London/New York, 1903). Jastrow, a German-born American Talmudic scholar and rabbi, began publishing his Dictionary in pamphlet form beginning in 1886. It was completed and published in two-volume form in 1903, and is a well-known resource for students of the Talmud.
