The Bar Ilan Responsa Project [פרויקט השו"ת של בר אילן], which began in its earliest form in 1963, is the world's largest electronic collection of Torah literature. The online version of the project, available since 2007, encompasses Jewish sources representing a period of over three thousand years whose database includes the Bible and its principal commentaries, the Talmud Bavli and Talmud Yerushalmi with commentaries, Midrash, Zohar, Halachic Law (Rambam, Shulchan Aruch with commentaries), a large Responsa collection of questions and answers, and the Talmudic Encyclopedia, among others. All texts are fully typed in, proofread, and hyper-linked. Paid membership is required to access the database.
