The American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) Archives contain the organizational records of the JDC, a Jewish humanitarian organization involved in the overseas rescue, relief and rehabilitation of Jews globally. Included in the archives are records of activity in over 90 countries dating from 1914 to the present, including collections of 75,000 digitized photographs, film, video, and audio collections, over 3.5 million digitized pages in JDC text collections, a collection of artifacts including posters, artwork, and gifts, an index of names, and an oral history collection. The records include collections from the New York, Geneva, Stockholm, Istanbul, Warsaw, and Jerusalem offices of the JDC.
