Today we are very happy to launch the new website #DHJewish - Jewish Studies and Digital Humanities. #DHJewish offers a single access point to news, events, projects + more on the intersection of Jewish Studies and Digital Humanities.

The #DHJewish website is run by an international editorial board that consists of heritage practitioners and scholars from various countries and represent several professional organisations, including the European Association for Jewish Studies, Association for Jewish Studies, Association for Jewish Libraries and the network „Jüdische Geschichte digital“ of the German Association of Historians. The project was supported by the Rothschild Foundation Hanadiv Europe.

In addition to news, events and a directory of projects, #DHJewish provides an online community (powered by the open-source team collaboration tool Zulip) as well as a dedicated Zotero bibliography. Furthermore, we are also building a directory of people.

We welcome any feedback and contributions. You can share news or events with us via dhjewish@gmail.com. If you would like to submit new projects you can do so by using this form. Similarly, if you would like your profile to be added to the directory of people, please use this form.

Happy discoveries!
