Going Digital with Humanities Research was a two-day workshop at the University of Manchester from January 27-28, 2016 that convened Humanities researchers, librarians, curators, and IT specialists, to explore the importance of the use of TEI XML for innovative and interdisciplinary research in the Digital Humanities. Organized by Renate Smithuis and Stefania Silvestri as part of their development of the Hebrew Collections catalogue project at the Rylands library, this workshop, co-funded by Digital Humanities Manchester and the John Rylands Research Institute, aimed to introduce TEI XML to new audiences and to create a positive and engaging discussion on the future of projects involving TEI.
